International Women’s Day – 8th March is celebrated by the organization as an initiative under “Project Ujjwala” for women in tribal padas.
As a part of this celebration, we conduct menstrual hygiene workshops for women & girls in tribal areas, thus making sure they do not miss to take care of themselves during these crucial days of menstruations. We also focus on spreading awareness about overall feminine hygiene & measures to practice in case of mental and physical issues encountered therein. Sanitary Napkins and snacks are distributed to girls & women who attend the workshop.
Women are pillar of society, hence by this means team ACF salutes to womanhood!!
